LEGO Disney 100 43225 The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Palace Leaked Online | May 2023

2023 is a huge year for LEGO and Disney with it being Disney's 100th Anniversary and a range of sets for the occasion releasing throughout the year. One of these is 43225 which has been rumoured for a long time to be the first ever LEGO Disney Princess 18+ set and now has leaked online with our first glimpse of the model. It turns out 43225 will be a D2C version of Ariel's Palace based on the brand new live-action Little Mermaid film.

43225 will retail for $159.99 which is $200 less than the last D2C Disney castle of 71040 Disney Castle. This is no surprise due to it being a Disney Princess set and having a much smaller build of a giant white brick built shell. Inside this shell are main rooms and scenes from the film including Areils hideout, a shipwreck, Ursula's liar and much more.

This makes for a very colourful and jam-packed 18+ scene which also includes a wide range of Minifigures too. For a $160 set with 1,808 pieces, we did expect a couple more Minifigure but either way we do get a total of five. These are Ariel, King Triton, Karina, Indira and Ursula with Flounders and Sebastian also included in their fish and crab form respectively.
