Our first leak of 40581 Tahu & Takus came as early as Summer 2022 but we now finally have official images of the upcoming Gift With Purchase. The set itself is based on the old LEGO theme Bionicle making it similar to the recent Blacktron GWP of bringing back a nostalgic LEGO theme in a GWP form. This 219-piece GWP similarly has the classic Bionicle packaging redone in a more modern 18+ LEGO way.
The early 2023 set is relatively easy to obtain as it's available with any purchases over $100 as long as they're from an unlicensed LEGO theme. They also have to be purchased between 27th January 2023 and 9th February 2023. But this does mean if your still waiting to buy some January 2023 sets from themes like LEGO City, LEGO NINJAGO and LEGO Friends then you can within just a couple of weeks.
